Fearfully and Wonderfully Made — The Bible, Gender, and Sexuality
The question of gender, sexuality, and marriage is splitting churches, ending friendships, and forcing every Christian to take a position. This 10-day plan refuses easy answers. It traces what Scripture actually teaches about the body, gender, desire, marriage, and love — and honestly confronts the failures of both traditional and progressive positions.
Few topics in the life of the church generate more pain, more heat, and less light than questions of gender and sexuality. Progressives accuse traditionalists of bigotry. Traditionalists accuse progressives of abandoning Scripture. Meanwhile, real people — including faithful Christians who experience same-sex attraction — are caught in the crossfire, often loved by neither side.
This 10-day plan does not offer easy answers because Scripture does not offer easy answers. What it offers is something harder and better: a vision of humanity made in the image of God, fractured by sin, redeemed by Christ, and called to costly obedience that applies to every person regardless of orientation.
What to Expect
Each day examines a key biblical passage alongside insights from Tim Keller, C.S. Lewis, Vaughan Roberts, and Augustine. The plan is deliberately honest: it takes the biblical text seriously, acknowledges the church's historic failures toward LGBTQ+ people, and explores what faithful Christian witness looks like in a culture that has largely abandoned the biblical sexual ethic. Expect to be challenged regardless of where you currently stand.
