Beyond Left and Right — What the Bible Actually Says
A 14-day exploration of the most divisive issues in modern public life, read through the lens of Scripture rather than partisan platforms. Discover what the left gets right, what the right gets right, what both get wrong, and what the Bible actually teaches.
We live in an age of intense political polarization. Many Christians have absorbed the assumption that faithfulness means loyalty to one side of the political spectrum. But when we open the Bible, we find a God who refuses to be domesticated by any human faction.
This 14-day plan walks through the most contested issues of modern public life — justice, poverty, human life, immigration, authority, freedom, creation care, and more — and asks a simple question: what does Scripture actually say? The answer, consistently, is more complex, more demanding, and more hopeful than any party platform.
What to Expect
Each day examines a major issue through two key biblical passages and the insights of respected Christian thinkers including Tim Keller, C.S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Francis Schaeffer. The approach is deliberately balanced: we explore what the political left gets right, what the political right gets right, what Scripture affirms in both, and where both fall short of the biblical vision.
This plan is not designed to tell you how to vote. It is designed to help you think biblically — which means thinking in ways that will sometimes comfort and sometimes challenge every political tribe.
